Company Profile
In 2005, several prominent members of the local business community began discussing the need for a bank that understands and addresses the needs of local businesses. They recognized a void in the local banking market – the need for local decision making where bankers take the time to get to know their customers and to understand their business and personal banking needs. These initial conversations were the impetus behind the ultimate formation of Bank of Cape Cod. After 18 months of careful planning, a lengthy regulatory review and approval process and a stunningly successful capital campaign, the Bank opened its main office at 232 Main Street, Hyannis in the fall of 2006. The reception and interest in the bank was strong and business grew rapidly. In March of 2008 a branch office at 57 West Bay Road, Osterville opened.
The Management, Associates and Directors of Bank of Cape Cod believe in the Cape Cod community and are committed to making a difference in the lives of its businesses and residents. We are community bankers by action and not just intention. We actively support the interest of our employees and encourage their involvement in organizations of their choice. We are pleased to further demonstrate this commitment to the local community by providing financial support to a wide range of non-profit organizations whose work directly improves the lives of the residents of Cape Cod.
